DfE Multiply Programme Resources
Explore the findings from the evaluation of the Multiply programme, a UK-wide initiative designed to improve adult numeracy skills and confidence. Funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered between April 2022 and March 2025, Multiply supported adults to develop maths skills needed for work and everyday life.
These reports assess the programme’s impact, effectiveness, relevance, efficiency and long-term sustainability, providing insights into what worked and the difference the programme made. They also include evidence from a series of adult numeracy randomised controlled trials carried out by the Department for Education to help build understanding of effective appraoches to improving adult numeracy.
